Everyday we all continue to take steps through life—most days they are routine and familiar, but every once in a while those steps take us in new, exciting directions.
This month, STEM Pre-Academy’s Program Manager, Davin Sasaki, took some new and exciting steps!
Davin has taken a new position within the UH Office for the Vice President for Research and Innovation and has transitioned out his role with us. Over the last 8+ years, Davin has been instrumental in shaping STEM Pre-Academy into the vibrant program it is today. His background in engineering helped shape the extensive work we have done to bring the engineering design process to teachers and his program management skills have continued to grow the program’s teacher base through some exceptionally challenging times.
Many many thanks to Davin for all of his contributions to STEM Pre-Academy over the years. We wish him all the best in his new role!
