We are pleased to announce the new, enhanced, online, and hosted, STEM Pre-Academy Digital Media Workshop:
Visual Storytelling – Production Values,
Project-Based Learning Using Digital Media in the Classroom
The workshop will be available as a live, online session, but participants are also invited to come to any of the hosted locations listed below. Production Values are the basis for creative, collaborative learning and making that allow students to discover the process behind producing something that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Project-based Learning is a teaching approach that allows students to actively participate in collaborative, real-world problem solving, challenging them to think critically to deepen their knowledge. This workshop will share a few techniques that will help you to develop a class culture where students value and embrace the process of learning and discovery to solve real-world problems. It will establish new mindset for project-based learning and take the idea of “good to great” to a whole new level.
