My students love the 3D printing unit and I've found the Afinia H800 to be the easiest to use and the most efficient of all the 3D printers I've used up to this point. We use tinkercad and sketchup to produce our .stl file designs. We've done som many things with the 3D printer involving innovation, design thinking and EDP. We've 3D printed a prosthetic Arm for an alumni of our school, prosthetic fingers for a student at our school, made interactive toys for kids at shriners, fidget items for students, assistive technology items and tools for kupuna and an innovative product design challenge. It's super open ended and you can even do cross curricular stuff where they create artifacts for Social Studies, etc.

Has anyone used Afinia H800 3D printer before? We are currently looking for support in using this in the classroom and would appreciate any help we can get.
