How These Resources are Arranged

The EDP resource collection is organized into pages for documents and videos with the following basic tags:

• EDP (Engineering Design Process)
  This is a blanket tag for all of the EDP materials.

• EDP Engineering Notebooks
  Engineering notebooks are used by professional engineers to document every detail in the process of a project. Included in this section are notebook templates for specific lessons or activities, as well as sample notebooks that have been filled out by students.

• EDP Unit Plans
  EDP Lessons are individual lessons or activities for classroom use. Many of these activities were innovated by participating teachers; others were developed or adapted from existing materials.

• EDP Lessons
  EDP Lessons are individual lessons or activities for formal and informal classroom use. Many of these activities were innovated by participating teachers; others were developed or adapted from existing materials.

• EDP Presentations
  EDP Presentations are geared towards explaining EDP in various teaching contexts. Deeper exploration of EDP fundamentals, and presentations related to specific units, lessons, and activities.

• EDP Templates
  EDP Templates include Engineering Notebooks, infographics, and other materials useful for creating EDP content for the classroom.

• EDP Elementary School / EDP Middle School / EDP High School
  If a resource is targeted at a specific grade level, it will be tagged accordingly. But remember, much of the material can be easily adapted for different grade and skill levels.
