Please save the date for our American Association of Physics Teachers (AAPT) Hawai‘i Spring Meeting, which will be held via Zoom on Saturday, May 9, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Please see below for the meeting agenda and the Zoom meeting link and code.

- Presentation by Bryan Silver about Kalani High School’s engineering program and connections to physics. Bryan was the 2025 Hawai‘i State Teacher of the Year and his Kalani students deliver consistent strong performances in Physics Olympics and Bridge Building. It will be great for us all to learn about Kalani’s great work and then have a discussion.

- 2025 Physics Olympics and Bridge Building recap, reflections, feedback.
- Election of Officers for 2026-27.
- Treasurer’s report.
- AAPT Hawai‘i / Paul Hewitt Physics Teacher Award.
