Plastics in Our Ocean STEM Unit Plan (GR2 Johnson)
Grade 2 STEM EDP Unit Plan focused on the problem of plastics in our ocean, and the Pacific Ocean in particular (i.e. the Great Pacific garbage patch). Utilizing the Understanding by Design process this plan begins with Desired Results (Stage 1), then Assessment Evidence (Stage 2), and finally the Learning Plan (Stage 3) which gives an overview of the five steps of the EDP for addressing the problem of plastic garbage in the Pacific Ocean.
