Have you ever browsed our Lending Library and wondered what you could do with all of our cool stuff? Are you looking for ways to add some variety to your teaching of forces and energy? Please join us for a Force and Energy Toolkit Talk with our very own Edwin Colón and featuring veteran science teacher Audrey Shiotsu from Jarrett Middle School! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to test out our tools and be a part of a community of like-minded teachers!
In this short session, you’ll:
-
Test a variety of items related to force and energy, including PocketLab G-Force sensors and Turbo Track Kits, the Pasco Newton’s Laws Experiment, the Eisco Force Table, and Rocket Launchers!
-
Learn about the experiences of a veteran teacher who has used these tools in the classroom!
-
Brainstorm implementation ideas with other STEM teachers!
This opportunity is open to teachers of Grades 3–12, including non-classroom teachers and informal educators. This workshop connects to Next Generation Science Standards dealing with Forces & Interactions and Energy. However, these tools may have other applications in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math!
We have limited capacity, so please sign up ASAP, no later than October 22, 2025.
