Science Fair Physics Kit (with Vernier Sensors)

The Science Fair Physics Kit provides students with professional-grade tools to design and carry out their own physics investigations. Centered around a Vernier LabQuest interface and a set of sensors—including a motion detector, force sensor, and current sensor—this kit allows students to collect precise, real-time data for a wide range of experiments.

Students can investigate motion, forces, and energy by measuring position, velocity, acceleration, and applied force. The motion detector enables non-contact measurement of moving objects, while the force sensor allows students to quantify pushes and pulls. The current sensor adds opportunities to explore basic electrical circuits. Together, these tools help students move beyond qualitative observations to quantitative, data-driven science.

This kit is especially well suited for science fair projects and open-ended investigations. Students can ask their own questions, design experiments, collect and graph data, and refine their explanations based on evidence. The LabQuest system displays graphs in real time, helping students immediately see patterns and relationships in their data.
