Description
The Vanilla Orchid Pollinator Model was developed by STEM Pre-Academy as an engineering design challenge tool for teachers, and over time, it has been proven engaging and fun for the students.
Teachers have used this interactive and hands-on approach to teach students about the importance of these pollinators and plant morphology while integrating the engineering design process to develop a solution to the challenge.
With this model, students can test their different prototypes of pollinators in the classroom. Each kit includes one pollinator model, a sample engineering notebook, and ten "pom-poms" to simulate pollen.
