Group Description

Graphic Design – Communicating with Impact, dove into the application of graphic design for posters, presentations, and infographics. This hands-on workshop:

* covered basic graphic design principles that can help your students with the important NGSS practices of Obtaining, Evaluating, and Communicating Information
* discussed distilling complex information into actionable messages for specific audiences
* reinforced valuable STEM communication and presentation soft-skills

The workshop was presented by Searider Production alums, Deana Goslin and Dannen Dano. Also, Kari Noe, graduate research assistant at the UHM Laboratory for Advanced Visualization and Applications shared her work in data visualization.
