Castle Complex K-16 Engineering Pipeline Project

About The Projects

The Castle Complex K-16 Engineering Pipeline Project builds the human capital of Windward O’ahu (Windward Strategy) by investing in the updating of teachers’ knowledge and skills (Education Strategy) to enable these teachers to engage all of the K-8 students, and students in Castle High’s Engineering Academy in rigorous engineering design challenges which require students to apply, with fidelity, the engineering design process (EDP). To do so, teachers will learn by doing, practicing, applying, reflecting and improving the engineering design units they will engage their students in.
