This instructional resource include introductory lesson ideas that use FabLab ModelMaker software to review the geometry concepts and formulas for perimeter, area, surface area, and volume of common figures (e.g. triangles, rectangles, circles, trapezoids) and various prisms. FabLab will help students explore the affects of applying the scale factor to the geometric figure. An additional extension lesson idea includes applying theses skills to a packaging design challenge.
