Aloha,
I’m Damion Kaholo, an engineering intern with STEM Pre-Academy and a Mechanical Engineering student at UHM.
I was given the opportunity to share some of my knowledge of solid body modeling with Audrey. We focused on the basics of SketchUp and she was able to create a layout of Washington Middle School hydroponics facility — she picked up on the program really fast. I can’t wait to see the final design!

Would 8th graders be able to use this program to design their portable hydroponic systems for clients? If so, I would be interested in learning more for Ilima Intermediate School and my students.

Looks like Washington Middle is in great hands! Definitely looking to see the progression that you all make throughout this school year. Hoping that one day Ilima Intermediate School can expand and go vertical too!
